Why Reinventing Your Business Now is Necessary

The way of doing business has changed. The pandemic, alongside the restrictions, created a turn of events that shook most companies to the core. We’ve stayed in this situation long enough to understand that there is no coming back. No return to so-called “normal”. So, what do we do? Continue to be inconvenienced by the changes and do our best, or reinvent the way we do business so we can thrive?

To create a powerful shift, we need to reinvent our business beyond the quick fixes and workarounds. Reinventing will bring back your joy, you will create a business where projects are delivered, your team is functioning, and clients are paying.

How to Reinvent Your Business

I recommend you take a few days off from managing your business, retreat to a quiet and inspiring space where you can think freely, then daydream uninterrupted. I know what you might be thinking: there are so many fires for me to put out when do I find the time to take off. That is precisely when you need this activity. If you’ve been stressed, feeling that there are not enough hours in the day, you need to stop. Working longer or harder is not the answer. Evaluating and reinventing is what you need.

Step #1 Know What Keeps You Stuck

First, to give yourself full chances to succeed, you need to review past hurts, failures, criticisms, or judgments. For instance, maybe you worked hard to submit a big proposal, and you had high hopes for your team to have that future project to work on, but the potential client came back with unreasonable demands. If that disappointment is still present for you, it might affect your next proposal. Anything that diminishes your enthusiasm needs to be released.

Also, you need to look at your current fears. Are you feeling tight in your stomach because of cash flow, or because your team members aren’t producing the results they once did since now they are working from home? Any fear you have diminishes the results you desire. Therefore, fear needs to be released, as well.

Step #2 Identify Your Ideal

Now with a clean slate, it’s time to visualize your next level in business. How would the reinvented business ideally look like for you? This step requires imagination and creativity. Don’t look at the next level as a continuation of what you are doing now. Look at it with the curiosity and wonder of “what if anything was possible?” What if you can have it exactly the way you want it? Maybe you desire a business that sustains itself with ease and you are mostly doing the things you love. Allow yourself to dream. If you feel deflated, go back to step 1.

Step #3 Know What Needs to Change

Now that you know where you want to be, look at where you currently are, and you will notice a gap. This step is about strategizing on how to close that gap. Look at every area of your business and write down what needs to change, then set goals for each of those areas.

Probably you will end up with a list of about 20 goals. Next, decide on priorities. What will give you the most growth with the least investment of time or money? You can put an H for high, M for medium, and L for low next to the action. Sort them in the order of importance and voila you now have a plan to execute.

Of course, this is not as easy as it sounds. If you would like guidance and support regarding this process, consider joining the Reinvent Your Business Retreat scheduled to commence on February 18.

Participants will enjoy simple-to-implement, yet effective, strategies through access to 8 video lessons as well as two 5-hour live events with Irina, recorded Hot Seats and Q&A calls, and FB group support. The event is incredibly unique as it offers a combination of business strategies, inner work, and energy healing meditations to help participants eliminate obstacles and prepare for greatness.
